The Smartphone (Infinix Hot ) has just been updated and
presented as the Infinix Hot 2,bringing to the table Android
5.1 Lollipop ,1GB or 2GB of RAM option,Improved battery
capacity,brilliant display amongst others.
The Infinix Hot 2 comes with a 5.0-inch IPS (720×1280
pixels) display and is powered by a 1.3GHz quad-core
Mediatek processor coupled with 1GB of RAM and a 2GB
variant . It bears 16GB of inbuilt storage, which is further
expandable via microSD card (up to 32GB). It features an
8-megapixel rear camera with LED flash,auto-focus with a
2-megapixel front-facing camera also on board.
On the Software front,the Infinix Hot 2 is a result of
collaboration between Google & Infinix Mobility as part
of a program called Android One which Google launched
Last year in India . The Infinix Hot 2 runs on android 5.1
Lollipop out of the box and will be capable of running
Android M when available.
connectivity options on the Infinix Hot 2 include Wi-Fi
802.11 b/g/n, GPRS/ EDGE, 3G, GPS/ A-GPS, Micro-USB,
and Bluetooth. The handset features an ambient light
sensor, an accelerometer, and a proximity sensor.The
Infinix Hot 2 is backed by a 2200mAh battery ,but isn’t yet
clear if it supports fast/quick charging.
