Glo weekend plans

Weekend data plan started by Airtel, follow by MTN, but MTN weekend plans was not last at all, I don't know the reason why MTN somehow canceled their own. Globacom has now joined the race by launching their own weekends data bundle for their subscribers. It seems this Glo weekend plan are more ok than the Airtel weekend bundle, because you're not only limited to weekends, it has an extra 7Nights extension. You can equally use it for 7Nights from 12.00am to 5.00am.

If you are such that always surf during the midnight, Globacom now offer you a cheap bundle to enjoy during the night, with just N200, you can get 1GB to use from 12.00am – 5.00am.

To Subscribe For Glo Weekend Plans

» Simply dial *777# and follow the prompt [Data Services » Buy Data » Night and Weekend plans], then select 1 for Night plan or 2 for weekend plan.

Both of the plans work for all devices ranging from Android Smartphones, iPhone/iPad, Laptops, BB10, Windows phone, Symbian/Java phones; you just name it.

This is an alternative plan, if you’re not eligible forAirtel weekend bundle of 1GB for N100, then Glo will surely welcome you to their weekend plan- 3GB for N500 plus 7Nights from 12am to 5am.

Android 6.0 mashmellow bug and how to fix

I'm pretty sure that all Android device users will like to upgrade their phone to Android 6.0 Marshmallow. Two different methods had been posted on this blog for Infinix Hot 2 users to upgrade their device to Android M and I'm sure most of Infinix hot 2 users have upgraded their device to Android 6.0 Marshmallow. After the successful upgrading, some are enjoying their phone while some guys are complaining badly about the new Android M.

It is so unfortunate that the new Android M was full with bugs, I received lots of bad complaints about it, such as;

» Not recognizing USB on PC.

» PSP game not playing
» Lost all his data and files after the upgrade.

» The phone was successfully upgraded to Mashmallow, but fails to boot up

» Battery drains

» Backed up contacts on Google account only displays the number and not name after making a call. I.e when a number you already saved in your contact called you, it only displays the number and not name.

» Unable to access any of the previous files on the phone and yet it shows the space occupied

After going through various complaints from people, I’ve decided to compile the most common issues with the phone as stated above and proffer solutions for them.

Note that, this is just the first roll out update for all Android One device and there is no how we can avoid bugs for now. What we need to do now is to exercise patient till Android 6.0.1 roll-out to fix/correct the bugs.

Common Problems and Their Solutions

Problem 1: Contact not displaying names after making or receiving a call
Go to your google settings and remove all google account, after some minutes, add them back and your problem should fixed then.
Problem 2: The phone was successfully upgraded to Mashmallow but fails to boot up
You can go back to Android One using the same steps you used in upgrading. But
If you have Mashmallow Update on your device or PC, run it again or flash it via SP Flash Tool.

Problem 3: Not having access to files and document
During initial setup most of us mistakenly put ourselves in guest account. This means the phone sees you as a guest. Hence, it restricts your use of the phone. Please check if guess mode is enabled, if you’re on it, reset your phone to factory settings.

Problem 4: Battery drain
Wait for few days for the software to settle, if the problem persist, then go to settings>>>Apps>>check apps that are currently running  on your phone and force stop the ones you are not using.

Important Notice
If you’ve not yet upgraded to Android 6.0 and you wished to do so, please back up your files, document, videos etc on your memory card and then remove it from your device before you start the upgrade.

That’s all for now. You can sound of your thoughts in the comments box.
